I thought I was being clever when referring to Final Destination as a series of Rube Goldberg deaths. For example, one of the deaths in Final Destination involves a kitchen magnet falling into an unwitting man's bowl of oatmeal. He then microwaves the oatmeal which starts a fire. But it's not the fire that kills him, it's when he slips and falls off the fire escape ladder and gets impaled by the ladder.
