Jeb Bush to NRA faux pas

"Were it not for your (NRA) active involvement, it's safe to say my brother would not be president of the United States," the younger Bush said.

Oh lord, I guess we're all in the open about the special interests' involvement with elections. And nobody even blinked. I think we're becoming numb as a country. What is it about the Revolutionaries of the 1700s who wanted certain liberties so much that they were willing to rise and die in battles against their masters? I guess they didn't have the drugs of TV, football, Internet, blogging, Universities, "career"-opportunities. A girl I knew told me once that she would give up freedom if it meant if it would make her happier. Hmm...
