Habitual Conjunctivitis is the disease that occurs when two words become habitually conjuncted together by a conjunction, like "and" or "or."
Here are some ones with "and" that Peter and I came up with:
dazed and confused
fear and loathing
crash and burn
intents and purposes
yin and yang
loud and clear
cease and desist
law and order
seek and destroy
clear and present
ready and willing
command and control
dazed and confused? Why not mystified and confused? Is it a poetic stability thing, where the rhyming patterns of the pair are so happy that your tongue and mind can't help itself?
Idle thoughts man, idle thoughts.
Speaking of which, here's an article on boredom and its hidden potential drawing from various quotes from celebrities of thought.
For broadband users, I have added a blogaural from Jimi Hendrix. I just discovered this guy, what a musical genius. I guess I'm a classic rock nut afterall (Queen, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc..)
