Pictures of me climbing Mt. Fuji

My German roomate Lucas and his half-Japananese/half-Brazillian friend Hugo took me to climb Mt. Fuji on Sunday night. We arrived by bus at about 10:40pm, and started climbing at 11pm. We reached the peak about 30 minutes before sunrise, so about 6 hours of mostly continuous climbing. Between 30 to 45 degrees incline. There was no moon, so we relied on a couple of flashlights. It was really crowded and the last hour of the trip was about the speed of a Disneyland line.

On the way back down, we zoomed down like we were snowboarding. That's what the pictures of me jumping up signify: my excitement of slipping and sliding down sand. It took us an hour and a half to go down Mt. Fuji.
