PSA: Early-phase Start-up Needs Search/Data-Mining Guru

A client of mine is heading a start-up and needs someone to fulfill this position. It's based either in SoCal or Central Texas. Here's the unofficial job description:

"Speaking of acquiring images and data, we'd like to engage/hire a very strong search guru -- someone that understands crawling, managing massive quantities of data, websites links, etc. We expect that we'll have to pull a lot of data from various sources, including crawling and connecting with other databases. We'd also like to find someone who knows the intricacies of Google AdSense for Content and Search and their affiliate programs as we expect that we'll try to position our company as a partner of Google for a lot of search results, mapping functionality, perhaps some of their open social capabilities."
