Divided, we are failing

We are more politically polarized as a nation than we were 4, 8 years ago. I cite this video from "The View" of Elisabeth Hasselbeck pushing Obama's ties to Ayers:

There's got to be a way to fix this without jeopardizing our democratic principles. But what is it?
