All the hardwork in raising a generation on environmental-consciousness could be erased

I've noticed that gamers and young techies on sites like digg and slashdot don't care about environmental issues, even going so far as to resent the environmental movement. Psychologically, they've prided themselves on being now counter-culture, by not being like their bleeding heart sheeple peers. Most likely it's been the cheerleaders and student government types that have been spearheading the environmental movements in their schools.

Just something I've noticed.
